bullet-proof joint health and mobility
New Time SLot - Wednesday 7:30pm Starting April 17th

In a class environment, FRC® Certified Mobility Specialist Korina Besednik takes athletes through active stretching and isometric strength training to bullet-proof and safe-guard joints so that movements can be executed safely.

These class will take place every Wednesday at 7:30pm & Saturday at 10am.

Focus of the Training

    Wednesdays
  • Focus on breathing, stretching, self-treatment - in general, a good mid-week recovery/restorative session
  • Saturdays
  • Emphasis on improving joint work space and joint strength through isometrics. Main focus is on the shoulders, hips and spine.

Examples of Improvements of Movement

  • Increase squat depth for everyday life and all weight training (ankle, knee and hip strength & mobility)
  • Get better control of overhead position for barbell or gymnastic work (spine and shoulder strength & mobility)
  • Gain control of joints at passive end-ranges (ie. avoid bottoming out of squat, or get control of the turn-over of the muscle-up)
