MASTERS PROGRAM
A DEDICATED FUNCTIONAL FITNESS PROGRAM FOR THE MASTERS OF THE COMMUNITY
At the Academy of Lions, our diversity of programming stems from our guiding principle to “build a community through physical culture.” As a Masters athlete, fitness and wellness are far more important factors on our day-to-day lives. As we age, fitness has a proven record of mitigating chronic illnesses, improving capacity for energy and supporting our ability to handle daily activities more efficiently and effectively.
Led by Coach Korina, our new Masters Class Program supports mature athletes, 50+, at any stage of their fitness by providing a flexible, consistent and focused functional fitness based program.
Each 1 hour class is designed to be well-rounded and all encompassing. Classes are broken down into 4 sections: a warm up, skills/technique focused training, workout of the day and ending with a mobility portion.

Classes take place Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9 AM in the Cross-Train area. UPDATE: New classes on Saturdays 8am The Masters memberships are distinct from Academy’s standard programs memberships—Masters’ members are unable to participate in non-masters’ classes. Athletes who wish to access more programs should contact the Academy admin team for more details!
